It could be just me, but I won't be watching this show on purpose
I've had MTV2 on in the background for awhile tonight, and a show came on called "Boiling Points." I don't know how many of you reading have seen this, but basically, it looks like people are being set up (kind of like candid camera), with someone intentionally trying to hit their "boiling point" in a set number of minutes that changes depending on the scenario.
Um. Don't we have enough rage and misdirected anger in the world without intentionally provoking people? I realize they're told later that they're on a show, and I think (from what I can tell), are awarded $100 in cash if they don't completely lose it in the set time. But still. For real?
The show declares itself to be "the most annoying show on TV." I'm going to have to agree with that one.

next up: "insane, murderous rage," the reality show in which unwitting citizens are pushed to the point of actually murdering someone!
"boiling point" sounds like it was invented by a sixth-grader sniffing glue.
another reason not to watch mtv. i liked it better when it was just videos, which shows you my age.

Have you thought about pitching that idea to the networks? You could have yourself a hit there! ;)
I remember a time when it was mostly videos, and same with MuchMusic... it shocks me to see videos at all now. Miss those days!
